Stretching and strengthening exercises are an important part of good daily neck care.
These exercises can easily be added to your usual exercise routine or done at home, so why not give them a go? A good place to do them is in the shower so you can use the heat to get a better stretch.
You shouldn’t feel pain when you perform these exercises. If you do feel pain on a particular stretch then either stop doing that stretch or stop at the point the pain starts.
You can always talk to your chiropractor. They’ll make sure you’re doing them correctly or may suggest a different exercise.
